Both Glencoe Mountain Resort and Fort William, known as the ‘Outdoor capital of the UK’, are only a short drive. Nearby activities include mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, walking, golf and fishing. Travel on the West Highland Steam Train (as depicted in the Harry Potter movie) to Mallaig, crossing the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, or visit some of the unspoilt beaches, castles, museums, and distilleries. Boat trips to the inner isles including Mull and Iona are easily accessible, or take a day exploring the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Oban, Loch Ness and the Isles of Skye and Mull are all within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant 550 yards.
