The area offers many attractions, antique lovers will enjoy Battlesbridge, Colchester Castle and zoo, The Jam Museum and tea shop at Tiptree a must for afternoon tea, Southend for family fun or the quaint seaside town of Leigh-on-Sea and Maldon with its delightful harbour. Just 10 minutes away Lakeside and Bluewater offers unique shopping experiences and Mersea Island is a must to sample the locally caught shellfish at the famous restaurant.
