This lovingly restored former brew house is located on a farm next to the owner s home and within walking distance of the pretty village of Thaxted, a picture perfect Essex village, with a windmill and local museum, ancient guildhall, and a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes. Just a short drive away is the market town of Saffron Walden with its wide selection of independent shops, Audley End House and Gardens with its miniature railway is a great family day out and a little further afield is the beautiful city of Cambridge famed for its architecture and majestic college buildings. For those who like the great outdoors, there are some great local walks which can be finished with a stop at the local pub, which is the birthplace of Dick Turpin, for a spot of refreshment. Enter via the front door into a spacious glass lobby area where there is space for dropping off shoes and hanging coats. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is full of character and charm with exposed beams and original brickwork. The lounge area has a comfy sofa which can be made into a sofa bed on request, an armchair, wood burner, Smart TV, DVD and a CD player. The kitchen/diner area is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine and a dining table and chairs for four. There is a sumptuous king size bedroom and a bathroom with a shower, slipper bath, WC and heated towel rail. Outside, there is a hot tub, perfect for relaxing, a patio table and chairs for four, a gas BBQ and hot and cold water taps, useful for muddy paws after a long walk. Enclosed rear patio garden.There is off road parking for two cars.
