Mablethorpe has an excellent sandy beach, and the more energetic can enjoy a lovely beach walk from Skegness to Cleethorpes. Chapel Saint Leonards is 11 miles and Skegness is 18 miles. Visit the RSPB nature reserve at Gibraltar Point, the Roman town of Horncastle, famous for its curio and antique shops, or the Georgian market town of Louth, which still has 3 markets a week.
