Take a trip to nearby Donna Nook Nature Reserve in Louth, which is one of the best places in the UK to see Grey seals, especially during November and December. The market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle are certainly worth a visit, but try to spare a day to fully explore the city of Lincoln, where sights from the majestic hilltop cathedral and castle span across the rooftops of quaint shops and cafes, reaching down to the canal dotted with swans. Field View is a perfect base for a memorable holiday at any time of the year.
