Field View, Humberston Near Cleethorpes

Lincolnshire. Sleeps up to 2

Cleethorpes 3 miles. This well-appointed bungalow is situated behind the owner’s home and cattery business, in the small village of Humberston, 3 miles south of Cleethorpes. This is an ideal property for a couple wishing to spend time together exploring the delights of Lincolnshire. Inside there’s a well-equipped kitchen and cosy sitting area with French doors opening on to a lovely decked area, with delightful views over the adjacent fields. There is a separate dining room with a small useful desk; just in case you need to catch up on a bit of work whilst you are away! A comfortable double bedroom and a bright and airy bathroom complete this ground floor accommodation. Outside, there is a welcoming patio area equipped with furniture and a barbecue, where you may wish to relax and enjoy a spot of alfresco dining whilst taking in the views. Cleethorpes is just a ten minute drive away and offers plenty of amenities, including cafes, boutiques, a cinema, fish and chip shops, seaside stalls, donkey rides and old fashioned amusements, as well as long promenades, ornamental gardens and a pier. Take a trip to nearby Donna Nook Nature Reserve in Louth, which is one of the best places in the UK to see Grey seals, especially during November and December. The market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle are certainly worth a visit, but try to spare a day to fully explore the city of Lincoln, where sights from the majestic hilltop cathedral and castle span across the rooftops of quaint shops and cafes, reaching down to the canal dotted with swans. Field View is a perfect base for a memorable holiday at any time of the year.

Explore the East of England

Not only the North Norfolk Coast with its vast beaches like Holkham, and salt marshes at Blakeney and Cley, the East of England offers historic Cambridge, Ely Cathedral, the calm beauty of the Broads, pretty villages of Suffolk and a variety of wildlife. It's no surprise it appeals to artists, photographers, cyclists and bird watchers.
