These renovated barns enjoy a peaceful, rural location close to the coastal resorts of west Somerset. Only 4 miles to Weston-Super-Mare, a beautiful seaside town with long sandy beaches and traditional family attractions, including SeaQuarium and the world’s largest helicopter museum. At its northern edge is Sand Point, a National Trust headland offering wonderful views and wild craggy rocks. At the southern edge are Weston Woods, three miles of woodland along the coastline into Weston-Super-Mare offering you splendid walks. Also Clevedon, a favourite resort of the Victorians, with its beautifully restored pier, and Burnham-on-Sea, a quiet seaside resort. Only a few minutes to the M5, the barns are an ideal base for touring this beautiful area. Nearby are the Mendips and the Quantocks, perfect for walking and cycling, and within an hour’s drive of the Roman spa city of Bath, Wells the smallest city in England, with a wonderful cathedral, Cheddar with its dramatic gorge and caves, more wonderful caves at Wookey Hole, Glastonbury with its mystical Arthurian connections and Bristol, full of maritime history, culture and shopping opportunities. Puxton Park offers a fun day out for all the family, with leisure activities and a farm shop. A one day free family pass is offered on stays of 3 nights or more.
