This cosy detached wooden holiday lodge is situated amongst 16 acres of owners’ grounds, with lovely views over the Mendips and as far away as Dorset on a clear day. The elevated terrace is a perfect spot from which to admire the view and watch the antics of the free range chickens, doves, and the horses in the neighbouring field. It’s less than a mile from the small village of Priddy, with a footpath across the fields it’s a 5-minute walk. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and therefore a very popular area for walkers, cavers and horse riding alike. It makes an ideal base for sightseeing places such as Cheddar Gorge and Caves, 5 miles, Wookey Hole Caves and Wookey Hole Paper Mill, 2.7 Miles, Wells Cathedral, 4 miles, Burrington Combe, 5 miles, Bristol, Bath, Longleat and many other places of interest are also within easy reach. Annual attractions include Priddy Folk Fair in July, Priddy Sheep Fair in August, Mendip folk festival, in September. Bonfire Night Display in November, and also in November the Illuminated Carnival Season. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
