There are wonderful views from the property of the garden and the pond and the owners paddock where you can see ducks and geese as well as further afield catching a glimpse of deer. There are a variety of places of interest nearby including: Royal Fleet Air Arm Museum, National Trust Sourhead Gardens, Glastonbury and Clark’s Outlet Village, not to mention some glorious countryside walking routes. Somerton is a beautiful destination with old town charm and many historical buildings to see. Once you've had time to explore, head to one of the delightful tearooms or cafes to take the weight off your feet. Trout Cottage is in an extremely pleasant, countryside location, yet within walking distance of Somerton with 3 pubs, an excellent bistro and some shops. Plenty to see and do for a couple looking to get away for a while.
