Here you will find your very own secret garden, a perfect retreat into countryside tranquillity – well away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Inside, the detached cottage has been renovated with luxury bed linen, toiletries and fittings. The medieval local village of Staple has a friendly pub/restaurant and Wingham and Sandwich are a short drive away. Canterbury is less than 10 miles away and is bursting with shops and restaurants. There is a great choice of beaches nearby including Broadstairs, Sandwich Bay and Ramsgate.

Gamekeeper’s Cottage is perfect for couples who want to spend some quality time together; those in need of peace and escape can wander around their own ’Garden of Eden’, before exploring the beautiful countryside and nearby coast – the best Kent has to offer. Even France is accessible with the Eurotunnel, and the ports at Dover and Folkestone close by. There is a bus stop within walking distance with hourly buses running to Sandwich and Canterbury. Shop and restaurant 2½ miles, pub 1 mile.

Gamekeeper’s Cottage can be booked together with Willow Tree House (UKC1060) and The Bothy (UKC1061) to accommodate up to 12 guests.
