Explore the waterways in style by hiring a boat or on a tour of the river from Wroxham, the “Capital of the Broads”. Be sure to bring a pair of binoculars as you float through the reed beds, there could be the elusive bittern (one of the rarest birds in the UK) watching from the riverbank or a family of otters lurking just below the surface.

Take a step back in time some 600 years at Norwich’s own former house of correction, and the castle and cathedral are not to be missed. There’s a variety of shopping suitable for all ages with charming boutiques and its vibrant weekly market. The Queen’s own holiday home at Sandringham is open to the public and there are National Trust properties at Sheringham Park and Blicking Hall. Sea fishing nearby. Beach 200 yards. Shop 700 yards, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
