First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and roll-top bath.
Bedroom 2: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request). . Gas central heating (underfloor in kitchen and bathroom), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for open fire included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Small enclosed garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps in the garden.. Coastguard Cottage is a beautifully presented, Grade II listed building, once belonging to the Admiralty, situated on the Ramsgate coast, now owned and renovated by a local Ramsgate interior designer. This lovely terraced cottage offers uninterrupted sea views and has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated to an excellent standard. The spacious living/dining room offers an open fire and has plenty of character with original wooden floors. The main shower room is on the ground floor, and the first floor kingsize bedroom boasts a roll top bath, where as the second bedroom offers a zip and link super kingsize bed. Outside at the rear of the property, guests can enjoy a private courtyard garden with garden furniture, a perfect place to plan the next day’s activities in the summer sun. Coastguard Cottage is perfect for families as it offers Wi-Fi and a Smart TV, plus the property is just yards from the local beach. Couples can also enjoy the great space that this property has to offer, as it makes the perfect romantic, coastal retreat.
The local pub is a short walk from the cottage, and there is plenty to explore in the local area. The picturesque, royal harbour area has many pubs and cafés open all year round and boasts incredible views across to France on a clear day. The area is steeped in history from its stunning architecture, to its magnificent wildlife. There are miles of walks, including the famous Viking Trail, plenty of cycle routes, three large golf courses and several nature reserves at Pegwell and Sandwich. There are good transport connections to London by either train or bus, or visit Ashford for connections to enjoy a day trip to France. Canterbury, with its incredible cathedral, boutique shops and dominant city walls can be quickly reached by bus, train or car. Beach 100 yards. Shop ¼ mile, pub 100 yards and restaurant ½ mile.
