Teal Cottage is a traditional terraced property typical of this popular seaside town, located in a quiet street in the heart of old Whitstable.  It has been renovated and thoughtfully furnished in a simple but stylish decor with light airy rooms and ceilings that are unusually high for such an old cottage. Ideal for those without a car as just a few minutes walk to the beach, the fish market and the wonderful restaurants, pubs and specialist shops. Whitstable has a railway station with frequent trains and also a bus service to Canterbury and other local towns.   Shop:  0.1 miles  Pub: 0.1 miles  Coast: 0.2 miles

Ground Floor: 
Sitting/Dining Room is spacious and areas are defined by stairs going up to the bedrooms.  Living space at the front of the house has comfortable seating, TV and DVD.  The Dining Area has feature fireplace, table and chairs, sideboard and door leading to courtyard garden
Kitchen also has a door to the courtyard garden and is simply furnished with gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine is in a small rear lobby which leads to the 
Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, washbasin and w.c.

Notes: The stairs are fairly steep for the very young and the elderly. For an additional £150 for the week have your own private Beach Hut (as pictured) -  a 15min walk from the house, through the harbour and along the beach.  It's a back row hut with a balcony and lovely views out to sea.  It has rugs and beach chairs, facilities for cooking and making tea and coffee. There is a tap for fresh water on the beach. Available from May to September.
