The owners have provided everything for a relaxing stay, with plenty of books and DVDs to enjoy. Set within the Cairngorm National Park, in the heart of the Whisky and Castle Trails, there is something for everyone in this beautiful wild area. The village is surrounded by stunning scenery and makes an ideal centre for walking, climbing, fishing, skiing at the nearby Lecht or Cairngorm, or wildlife watching. The Glenlivet Estate offers 4x4 safaris and wildlife walks off the beaten track. Horse riding is available within a few yards of the cottage and golf and bowling are nearby. In contrast, an hour’s drive takes you to the beautiful Moray coastline with its long sandy beaches and water sports are available at Loch Morlich near Aviemore.
