Decorated and furnished to a very good standard, it also benefits from a large, enclosed, rear garden. It is well within walking distance of the double basin harbour and a local fish and chip shop.
Portknockie is a real gem in the heart of the Buckie coastline. With dramatic and ever changing sea views, it is a wonderful place for walkers and those who love to take in the local scenery. The neighbouring village of Cullen, about 2 miles away, is definitely worth a visit. Why not try the local delicacy of cullen skink (a thick soup made with smoked haddock, potatoes and onions) while you are there? If you are a keen golfer, then there are several courses within easy reach. The working fishing town of Buckie is about 4 miles away, and from here you can take a boat trip on the Gemini Explorer to search for the Moray Firth dolphins. Or, further afield at Spey Bay, you will find the popular Scottish Dolphin Centre and Nature Reserve. The famous Speyside Whisky Trail is also within easy reach and should not be missed.
