Privately situated at one end of this delightful collection of holiday properties on a working farm, Pine Tree Cottage boasts wonderful views, and an enclosed lawned garden, making it ideal for families. Beautifully furnished, the living room is light and spacious with a cosy wood burner for cooler evenings, the kitchen/dining room is well-equipped and there are three sumptuous bedrooms. The property is within easy reach of Edinburgh, just 40 minutes by train from Stow, or take advantage of the convenient park and ride, just 17 miles away. Hill climbers and mountain bike enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby hills which can be accessed from the doorstep, with a waymarked route on an old railway line, and a Pictish settlement to explore nearby. Mountain biking and GoApe at Glen Tress are just 24 miles away, and there is also golf at Torwoodlee. A tennis court located near the owners farmhouse is available for use by guests free of charge, just a 5-minute walk from the cottage. Hire of the court is by the hour, and bookings must be made by prior arrangement with the owner. Appropriate flat footwear with no treads must be worn, and racquets and tennis balls are also available to hire at a small fee should you require them. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 11 miles.
