This attractive, detached, single-storey barn conversion, adjacent to the owners’ home, is located in the village of Blagdon and enjoys stunning views over Blagdon Lake. The living room and bedroom both have patio doors facing out over the pretty garden and lake, and the patio area is the perfect spot from which to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views. This holiday property is ideal for walkers, with footpaths leading from the village and around the lake, and the larger Chew Valley Lake nearby is a haven for wildlife. Cheddar is 7 miles, with England’s largest gorge and caves, a popular visitor attraction. The small city of Wells has a magnificent cathedral, medieval Bishop’s Palace and many historic buildings. It also hosts a thriving weekly market in the cobbled square, with a good array of shops, restaurants and cafes. The cities of Bristol and Bath are within a short drive, as are the coastal resorts of Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon and Burnham-on-Sea. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
