The town also hosts a Christmas market in early December. There is a launderette, and an excellent range of shops, restaurants and pubs including the Nutshell, England’s smallest pub nearby. Visit National Trust properties nearby with Ickworth Park and Anglesey Abbey and Gardens. Also explore Newmarket for a day at the races, Cambridge and Ely with its 12th century cathedral. Golf is available locally. Shop and pub/restaurant 500 yards.
