The village of Ballinderreen has a shop and a pub and is close to the sandy beach at Tracht. If you travel from Galway to County Clare on the main road, you will see some of the most stunning scenery. A little further down the road is the village of Kilcolgan and Morans Oyster Cottage which is now a restaurant. Why not explore the local area, walking on the waterÂ’s edge and see if you can catch any oysters? A perfect area for walkers and there is a pier just five minutesÂ’ walk from the apartment, where you can enjoy the views and the clear waters. Just a five minute drive away from the apartment is the attractive seaside village of Kinvara where you will find Dunguaire Castle. There are many popular attractions within easy reach of Kilcolgan, such as The Burren, the beautiful Connemara National Park and the city of Galway.
