Llety'r Bugail, Holyhead

Gwynedd. Sleeps up to 2

Holyhead 1.3 miles. This delightful traditional shepherd’s hut is located near Holyhead in the Vale of Anglesey. The charming property provides cosy accommodation for two on a Welsh working farm with stunning views to the coast and countryside. Accessed via a set of three wooden steps, the stable-style door opens up to reveal a characterful interior. At one end is a built in double bed, with plenty of storage, and a door at the other end leads to the WC and shower room. There’s an open plan living area with galley kitchen and dining area, with two comfy tub chairs and a useful drop-leaf table, plus a woodburning stove providing plenty of warmth. The galley kitchen is well-equipped and provides ample space for cooking tasty meals. Outside there’s a small area of raised decking which includes a seated platform with chairs, so you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views. There’s easy to access parking right next to the shepherd’s hut. Nearby is the busy town of Holyhead, which dates back to 450AD. Take a look around the many shops, or sample some local specialities in one of the many pubs, cafes or restaurants. Explore St Cybi’s Church in the town centre, which is built on the site of a Roman fort or enjoy a coastal walk and bird watching at Breakwater Country Park. Elsewhere, Llangefni is the place to go for arts and culture and Menai Bridge to view two stunning bridges. As Holyhead is home to the Stena Line, you could even take a trip to Dublin. Bursting with character and oozing with charm, Llety'r Bugail is the perfect place for a calm retreat for one or a romantic break for two. This property is on the same site as 950566, 950567, 950568, 950569 and 973876, together they sleep 20.
