Wolsingham itself is a divine little town in County Durham, a typical British market town set with beautiful stone buildings, along with a number of shops, pubs and tea rooms making it a delightful location. Wolsingham also offers activities such as a swimming pool and a grass bowls club. This cottage is surrounded by fascinating places all within 20 minutes drive, Hamsterly, Bishop Auckland and of course Durham are all magnificent places you need to visit if you are up at this part of the country. Durham is the stand out point around here, famous for its amazing architecture as well as an abundance of activities.
