Seagrass, Crantock, Nr Newquay

Cornwall. Sleeps up to 10

This superb, uber-cool family property sits just beyond the sand dunes at Crantock beach. Completely refurbished to exacting standards, Seagrass offers reverse level accommodation, and is stylish and vibrant throughout. Making the very most of its countryside vista and distant sea glimpses, the property has wonderful floor-to-ceiling windows and a Juliet balcony off the sitting area; a fabulous spot to sit a while in the fresh sea air. During winter, the cosy wood burning stove turns the sitting room into a snug den, perfect for watching wild and windy storms thrash against the shore. The immaculate kitchen is chock-a-block with high-end appliances and has an enormous dining table big enough for the whole family to gather together. On the ground floor, each bedroom is neutrally decorated with colourful highlights, ample storage and crisp linens. Seagrass is a true family home-from-home; the owners have thought of everything to make your holiday the best yet. A converted garage offers a fantastic games room, and the house has a selection of children’s toys as well as an outdoor shower and storage for bikes and surfboards. Outside, there is a large enclosed garden with a lawn and a raised deck; ideal for young families and pet owners. The village of Crantock is just outside Newquay on the picturesque north Cornish coast. Its beautiful sandy (and dog-friendly!) beach with excellent surf is just beyond Seagrass, a hop and a skip across the dunes. There are a number of restaurants and pubs within walking distance; we recommend going for a morning walk and stopping by at the Fern Pit Café on the way home for one of their renowned lobster sandwiches!
