This is the perfect spot to drop the cases and start to feel relaxed and re-energised, as you plan your Mayo adventure. Outside, you can enjoy the sun in the lovely garden. The town of Foxford is a 10 minutes stroll away. The mighty River Moy, world renowned for its salmon fishing can be heard nearby as it meanders towards the sea at Ballina. It passes by the Foxford Woollen Mills, a well known tourist attraction where you will browse the wonderful craft shop and relax in the adjoining restaurant. Take the short trip to Ballina and on to neighbouring Enniscrone, where the wild Atlantic breeze will colour your cheeks as you walk the stunning beach. Travel to the county town of Castlebar for a days shopping and further on to Westport, an oasis in the west and home to many traditional pubs and restaurants. Visit the nearby Museum of Country Life at Turlough, Castlebar and learn about past generations as they toiled the land. Return to Foxford for an evening of relaxation, dine in the local restaurants or enjoy a glass with the locals in the pub. The scenery in County Mayo is stunning and diverse, with sea, sand, mountain, lake and river. Aisling in Foxford will provide the ideal base to start your Mayo journey.
