Once inside, you will notice the breathtaking views of the coast from the large south-facing window. The lobby is first on entry with the well-equipped kitchen off it. Next door is the sitting room which has a sofa and dining table and chairs, making it an ideal place to relax after a full day exploring the wonderful area, as well as a double bedroom to round off the property. There is plenty of storage throughout, with a separate coat hanging area or somewhere to store beach equipment. Five minutes walk from the apartment takes you to Ventnor Beach which boasts a lovely sand and shingle beach and excellent facilities for watersports, with the harbour selling a good range of fresh fish and locally-caught seafood. A good variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants line the esplanade, whilst the Botanical Gardens are within easy reach and well worth a visit. There are plenty of coastal paths to enjoy, and at the end of the day you could enjoy a splendid meal at The Royal Hotel, for something different. A little further along the coastal path is the Steephill Cove, the perfect beach for swimming and where you will find quaint cottages, cafes and a restaurant selling fresh locally caught crab and lobster. There is so much to see and do on the Isle of Wight including a visit to the Needles Adventure Park with its shopping centre, tea rooms and 9-hole golf course.
