This lovely cottage offers views across beautiful countryside and is perfectly positioned in a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths from close to the cottage which will lead to the nearby downs and the picturesque villages of Godshill and Whitwell, which has a fishing lake. The sandy beaches of Steephill Cove, Shanklin and Ventnor are just a short drive away. You can follow the popular walk which follows the course of the River Yar from its source at Niton to the sea at Bembridge. The villages of Whitwell and Niton are ideal for shops and places to eat and drink. Other places to visit include Ventnor Botanic Garden, Carisbrooke Castle, the Garlic Farm, St Catherine s Lighthouse and Osborne House. On entering this lovely single level property, which is situated in the grounds of a farmhouse, you will find yourself in the light and welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With comfy seating, TV/DVD and patio doors opening out onto the pretty terrace, the lounge is an ideal space for relaxing in. You will also find a charming dining area. Heading over to the kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and a fridge with an ice compartment. Exploring further you will find a cosy double bedroom with a super king size bed. This room also has an en suite shower room with a large walk in shower and a WC. A freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available in an easily accessible out building. Stepping outside onto the terrace, you can sit back and unwind and admire the views. Garden furniture is provided so you can dine in the sunshine. There is also an additional seating area to the rear of the cottage which has a picnic bench and can be found down a few steps. A variety of birds are frequent visitors to the garden, as are foxes, badgers, rabbits and hares. There s parking space available immediately beside the cottage.
