A beautiful barn conversion located just outside of Whitby on the Yorkshire coast. Well-furnished throughout with spectacular countryside views, the cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends who want to explore Whitby and the surrounding area. The open plan sitting room welcomes guests inside after a day in Whitby and features beautifully exposed brickwork and oak wood floors. Here, guests can hang their coats away and relax on the comfortable leather sofas in front of the TV. The stylish, well-equipped kitchen has all the amenities for guests to serve a fantastic meal. From the sitting room there is a delightful double bedroom with en-suite facilities. There are three well-decorated bedrooms with en-suite facilities on the first floor which complete the cottage. Outside, there is a large patio area with furniture which gives guests the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing drink in the afternoon sun whilst they plan the following day’s activities. Whitby offers fantastic attractions such as the 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey and the historic harbour, where there are plenty of restaurants and bars to suit everyone’s tastes. The superb sandy beaches are perfect for families to enjoy an afternoon by the sea with fish and chips, or take a trip to the Captain Cook Museum for a fascinating insight into the life of the famous explorer. The pretty coastal villages of Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes are close by. For visitors who love the outdoors, the North York Moors National Park is just a short drive from the cottage and provides spectacular walking routes through the moorlands. A fantastic cottage, Raw Pastures is the perfect retreat which can be enjoyed throughout the year.
