Just a stone’s throw from the loch and surrounded by mountains, this welcoming, single-storey Morar cottage is ideal for a family or group of friends who wish to enjoy the Highlands of Scotland and spend time together in the great outdoors. There are two bedrooms in this cottage in Morar and a sociable and comfortable open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, which has French doors that lead out onto a private patio area. From the rear of this Highland cottage there are lovely mountain views and just a two minute walk away are the banks of Loch Morar, which claims to have its very own monster called Morag! Morar is famous for its beautiful white sandy beach, an idyllic place for a quiet picnic and paddle. The village of Morar has its own hotel and just three miles away is the village of Mallaig, which provides easy access across the sea to the wonderful Isle of Skye. The area is rich in pretty walks and wildlife, but if it’s history you seek then travel the famous Road to the Isles to Glenfinnan, where a great monument commemorates Bonnie Prince Charlie's last uprising, an iconic statue and a romantic tale.
