The village of Morar has its own hotel and just three miles away is the village of Mallaig, which provides easy access across the sea to the wonderful Isle of Skye. The area is rich in pretty walks and wildlife, but if it’s history you seek then travel the famous Road to the Isles to Glenfinnan, where a great monument commemorates Bonnie Prince Charlie's last uprising, an iconic statue and a romantic tale.
