This wonderful mid-terrace cottage is situated on a quiet road in the centre of the village of Pakefield, on the Suffolk coast, 250 yards from the clifftop path. An ideal base for couples or small families to get away and enjoy the peaceful surroundings in this lovely part of the country. The ground floor offers a cosy sitting room with everything you would need for a night in with a movie, and a dining room for all guests to enjoy fabulous meals cooked in the well-equipped, spacious galley kitchen. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one of which is a comfortable twin room, while the master bedroom has the benefit of an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen leads out onto a yard and decked area, ideal for relaxing with a morning coffee while planning your day ahead, or enjoying an evening meal. Just a short walk from the cottage is Pakefields’ dog-friendly beach, the UK’s most easterly sandy beach. The beach is located below Kensington Gardens Park, which offers tennis, a boating lake and a tea room. A walk along the traffic-free promenade will bring you to the centre of Lowestoft with all its traditional seaside attractions and amenities to enjoy. There is plenty to do in the area and nearby, with Africa Alive, an excellent day out for wildlife lovers. Somerleyton Hall is widely acclaimed as one of the most beautiful stately homes in Britain and Pleasurewood Hills, the local American theme park, to name a couple, are fabulous places to visit. Within a short drive, you can also be on the popular Suffolk Heritage Coast, visiting Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh. This cottage is ideal for friends and families wishing to explore this wonderful area with so much to do.
