There are attractive ornamental gardens in Pannett Park, or you may wish to visit the Captain Cook museum. The surrounding area has many attractions including a nostalgic trip on the famous North York Moors Steam Railway which winds its way through heather-clad moors from Grosmont to Pickering, or maybe enjoy a fun-filled day at Flamingo Land theme park.
