Accessed up a long private lane, this ground floor Anglesey cottage is a perfect romantic retreat for a couple at any time of the year. Beautifully furnished throughout, this incredibly spacious Benllech cottage has a large sitting room which boasts a sumptuous deep carpet, high quality sofas and superb views of the owners’ 1.5 acre garden and the hills and mountains of Snowdonia National Park beyond. A very well-equipped kitchen leads to a lovely conservatory, and the comfortable double bedroom has dual aspect windows and is next to a large bathroom. Guests have private use of a section of the owners’ garden, with a secluded front patio and a lawned area which offers a peaceful spot for a refreshing drink after a day spent discovering the magical Isle of Anglesey. Nearby Benllech is a traditional seaside village with a wonderful Blue Flag beach as well as a fine selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. Just a couple of miles away, Red Wharf Bay is famous for its sailing community, beachfront restaurant and the popular Ship Inn, where a warm welcome is guaranteed. Just a short drive away is the delightful town of Beaumaris with its superb castle, whilst back on the mainland, Caernarfon, Llandudno and the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park are all waiting to be discovered. A superb Benllech holiday cottage which will live long in the memory.
