At the rear is a private patio and seating area, which is a perfect place for some relaxation or a quiet evening glass of wine before dinner. The village of Muir of Ord is close by and offers good local facilities, boasting its own golf club, set in an area of outstanding scenic beauty. For fishermen, the Rivers Conon and Beauly are on the doorstep and are considered to be two of the most popular salmon fishing rivers in Scotland. The area is ideally situated for trips to Loch Ness to do some monster spotting, trips to watch the dolphins jumping on the Moray Firth or even a day on the west coast and across the sea to Skye.
