Encompassing the Rhinog mountains and the Wales Coast Path, the Ffestiniog Railway which crosses Traeth Mawr on an embankment known as the Cob, this is a fantastic area, with the spectacular countryside of the Llyn Peninsula to enjoy. Steps lead from the decking down onto a small lawn, which has a path leading towards the beach; a wonderful seaside escape for the whole family. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, with a fantastic links golf course only five minutes' away in Morfa Bychan, Porthmadog with its harbour and steam train can be reached in 15 minutes' along a coastal walk, or jump in the car and drive 10 minutes' to the superb Italianate village of Portmeirion. This wonderful cottage will provide you with an ideal base to explore the delights of the area with your family and friends, any time of the year.
