This Criccieth cottage has been tastefully furnished and offers spacious accommodation, while outside, open lawned gardens and a patio area are ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine while the children play. Criccieth has two superb beaches, one within 100 metres of this Criccieth cottage, which is perfect for swimming, watersports and rock-pooling, and if you are lucky, you may spot one of the visiting dolphins who enjoy the warm gulf stream that flows along this beautiful coast. Situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Criccieth is a delightful town with an array of shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as Criccieth Castle which was built in the 13th century and dominates the landscape on its rocky perch at one end of the town. Other local attractions include the world-famous village of Portmeirion, the Italianate village where The Prisoner was filmed, or Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog Railway - an old steam train that takes you high into the Snowdonia range. This Criccieth cottage is ideal for a family getaway, all year round.
