Spend the day in Bridgend, which is just a short drive away; here, there is plenty to explore, from the 13th century castle ruins to the many local shops, eateries and pubs. Take a stroll along the River Ogmore and find the ancient bridge, or make a day of it and explore the nearby beaches and attractions. Porthcawl is well worth a visit, offering a selection of eateries, pubs, and a local museum. The town also offers walks along the sea front and access to the lovely coastal walks, a delightful sandy beach with watersports activities, and a golf course where you can try out a game or two. Golygfa Bryn will offer all the comforts of home for that special getaway in South Wales.
