Southwold is nearby which is known for its impressive Victorian pier and selection of traditional pubs and shops and the picturesque village of Walberswick is well a worth a visit with its sandy beaches and a couple of pubs, ideal for stopping off at for a refreshing pint and some delicious food. Days out within a short drive include Go Ape Thetford, Framlingham Castle, Somerleyton Hall, Adnams Brewery, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens, Snape Maltings and Melford Hall.
