Take a drive along the Dales, firstly stopping off at Aysgarth Falls and Cauldron Falls for some beautiful scenes, before reaching the old mining town of Reeth, or the market town of Leyburn, where you can find a great selection of eateries, pubs, galleries, shops and more; follow the River Ure from Leyburn to Richmond, the perfect spot to take in stunning views of the nearby castle and abbey, and wander through the cobbled streets of the market square, filled with boutique shops, eateries and bars. Drive South West to the spectacular Ribblehead viaduct, Malham Cover, Grassington (the home of “All Creatures Great and Small”) and Ingleton. South East brings you down to Harrogate, Skipton and Brimham rocks – an almost alien landscape! For the more energetic or adventurous the three peaks are accessible from the viaduct.
