Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Though Conwy has been designated as a World Heritage Site due to its historical and architectural significance, the town's centre is a hive of activity. In addition to its many specialty stores, restaurants, and hotels, the area hosts a number of festivals and fairs celebrating the city's rich history as well as musical performances, art galleries, and historical sites. Conwy Castle, constructed for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287 according to a plan by Master James of St. George, is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of mediaeval military architecture. The narrow rocky ledge on which the castle rests likely influenced its peculiar, elongated shape, which features two barbicans, eight enormous towers, and a magnificent bow-shaped hall. Many of the town's long-standing customs, such as the Honey fair, Seed fair, and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October and other musical events held throughout the year, are kept alive as a mark of the community's pride in its heritage and celebration of its past. Conwy is a great place to stay if you want to visit the nearby beautiful countryside, unspoiled sandy beaches, or the nearby majestic Snowdonia National Park. Surf Snowdonia is a mere six miles distant, and the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, home to Europe's longest zip line, are also easily accessible.

Located in Conwy, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. Eryri National Park and Bodlondeb Woods Local Nature Reserve reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Conwy Water Gardens and Conwy Valley Maze. Bodafon Farm Park and Pen-y-Dinas Hillfort are also worth visiting. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking.
