Shepherds Hut for two located on the east yorkshire coast, Skipsea

The shepherds hut nestles in the corner of Mill Farm Country Park with mature hedges behind. It makes an Ideal glamping holiday for two people visiting the area, a birthday treat or meeting up with friends and family who may be staying at Mill Farm Country Park with their own caravan, motorhome or tent. It has been well equipped and cleverly designed to give the maximum amount of space and storage,
I provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a pint of locally produced milk upon arrival.

It is fitted out with a large double bed complete with linen and towels, wardrobe, large draw under the bed, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, radio and a heater, the fitted dresser is also kitted out with utensils and crockery.

Please note that the pictured bunting and fairy lights are extra, they are a one off payment of £6.00 each at the beginning of your stay please email me if you would like them.

Guest access

Toilets, showers and dish washing facilities all have free hot water and are conveniently positioned 50 meters away in the main building on the campsite.

There is a wooded farm walk along the fields where you can go for a stroll and you might spot all sorts of wildlife including Roe deer and owls.

Interaction with guests

Upon arrival call in at Mill Farm to book in and obtain the key code for the key safe for the shepherds hut, and then you are free to come and go as you please. If you have any problems or questions please contact us at reception.

The neighbourhood

Three minutes walk along Mill Lane takes you into Skipsea village where there is a mini supermarket & Post Office, a hairdressers and there is food available at the Board Inn.
A short walk through the village leads you to All St Church which dates from 1090 and was completely rebuilt in the 14c. further on is Skipsea castle site (motte & bailey) dates from 1086.
On the edge of the village there is an ice cream parlour and tearoom.
Twelve minutes walk in the other direction from the shepherds hut takes you to a view of the sea where on a clear day you can see Flambough Head and all the way to Spurn Point there are also fish & chips and amusements.
Near by :- there is a golf course and pond fishing
