There are also a number of beautiful sights nearby if you’re interested in exploring the local area. This includes Morecambe Promenade which boasts award-winning beaches and an array of pubs, bars and restaurants, one of which is the iconic Midland Hotel.
The Lake District National Park is also a short drive away, as well as the Trough of Bowland and the historic city of Lancaster.
Most importantly, on your doorstep, there is the quaint village of Heysham which has a fascinating history – dating back to Viking times. Here, you’ll be able to explore the ancient ruins of St Patrick’s chapel, while taking in the breath-taking views of Morecambe Bay from Heysham Head.
This is the ideal place for a well-deserved getaway.
