Featuring plenty of original features with exposed beams, The Barn and Chaffhouse is complimented by Welsh slate tiled floors with underfloor heating and comfortable contemporary furnishings. Enjoy sunny days on nearby Freshwater West beach where Dobby’s Shell house was located in Harry Potter and the setting for the Robin Hood film or beautiful Barafundle Bay. Visit the 6th Century St Govan’s Chapel built into nearby cliffs and Bosherton’s Lily Ponds, enjoy the rides at Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Zoo or join the Pembrokeshire Coast National Path in Castlemartin and look out for The Green Bridge of Wales. There is so much to see and do.

The Barn is positioned in a rural setting in a small cluster of cottages with private gardens laid to lawn surrounding it. Enter the property and find yourself in the bright and airy hallway with an open staircase to the first floor bedroom, family bathroom and head right into the large open plan kitchen, diner and living room.
The open plan space is perfect for busy families to gather and spend quality time together. Rustle up a picnic for the day ahead in the well-equipped kitchen, a generous space for cooking and preparing meals. There is a dining table for gathering around before lounging out on the sofas with the fire roaring in the log burner while watching a film together or playing a game.
Off the hallway, there is a ground floor bedroom with a super king size bed and handy single fold out sofa bed with an ensuite with WC and shower for extra privacy. Upstairs, there is a king size bedroom. Downstairs you will find the family bathroom with WC and shower over bath. Fluffy towels are provided for all guests. From the open plan space, climb the modern spiral staircase to the mezzanine level which benefits from two further single beds, with views of the garden and the sea over surrounding countryside.
Externally the Barn has lovely green gardens for children to burn off some steam, there is a charcoal BBQ, and patio area with table and chairs – a perfect, sunny and sheltered spot to eat al-fresco.
Local Area
Locally there is so much to see and do. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a spectacular 186 mile (299km) long National Trail covering some of the most varied coastal scenery. 
The Barn is ideally located between some of West Wales’ most picturesque beaches: Freshwater West and Angle Beach to the west and Barafundle Bay, Stackpole Quay and Broadhaven South to the East.
As well as the beaches, for families you have a large assortment of attractions such as Folly Farm, Manor Park, Heatherton and Oakwood for thrill seekers. The area is also ideal for walkers with the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path as well as picturesque country walks and footpaths, including those accessible across the Castlemartin military range which have seasonal opening to give access to less frequented and stunning scenic coastal areas.
There is also a good choice of outdoor activities available in the area, ranging from horse riding, coasteering, to a variety of water sports, stand up paddle boarding, abseiling, orienteering, caving, and gorge walking.
There is an abundance of historical attractions locally, including the medieval town of Pembroke with Pembroke Castle (the birth place of Henry VII) and moat, and numerous other historic houses such as Lamphey Bishops Palace.
There are many beautiful, rugged beaches in Pembrokeshire, along with popular coastal resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot. A perfect holiday home for families and couples to enjoy beautiful Pembrokeshire at all times of year.
Need to know
Please note that this property is set in a unique location several miles from Castlemartin military range. The Castlemartin military range closes for the weekend and during school holidays in August. There are guided walks available during August on the scenic coastal area that covers the range. There can be day manoeuvres and occasionally there are evening manoeuvres, although the range covers an area of 2400 hectares you may hear live firing and see tanks in the distance over farmland. Please bare this is mind if you have a nervous pet. 
There is a travel cot bed and highchair available upon request

Located in Pembroke, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Pembroke Castle and Lamphey Bishop's Palace are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Spa at Celtic Haven and Cwm Deri Vineyard. Upton Castle Gardens and Manor House Zoo are also worth visiting.
