There is one double bedroom with en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with lawn, patio and furniture, an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture, secure bike storage, bike washing area and off-road parking for two cars. Within 1.1 miles you will find a shop and within 0.7 miles, a pub and please note that this is pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Swn Y Nant is a charming base for your next Welsh adventure. Note: The owners are discreet and will not be in the overlooked area of their garden while guests are at the property. Note: No children or infants. Please note: For week-long stays, the changeover day is Friday, and for shorter stays, the changeover days are Fridays and Mondays.

Town: Once a thriving village created around the Welsh mining works, this charming Welsh village of Tondu still offers a pub and general stores and is easily accessed from the M4 motorway. Parc Slip Nature Reserve is nearby and is well worth a visit, not only for the insightful visitor centre and lovely coffee shop but also the 300 acres of woodland, wetlands, meadows and birdhides to discover. Take a bike ride along the Celtic Trail East and National Cycle route 4, stroll through the countryside, enjoy a picnic or try some of the other incredible mountain bike trails on offer. The beautiful Bryngarw Park, with its 113 acres and Margam Park with a stunning orangery are well worth exploring. Nearby, Bridgend with its town shops plus the popular designer outlet village provide the chance for some good retail therapy or why not venture to the designer shops in Cowbridge for something a little more special? The outstandingly beautiful Welsh coastline beckons, with the seaside resort of Porthcawl boasting sandy beaches, a surf school, great fishing and a popular fun park. Ogmore-by-Sea on the other hand, offers a vast stretch of unspoilt beach and a local riding school offering treks along the sand. Nearby mountain trails offer thrills and spills for the bikers in your party, while an easy train journey will take you to Cardiff or Swansea for shopping, theatres, concerts, sports events and much more. A great central location for fun-filled days out exploring South Wales.

Located in Bridgend, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Margam Castle and Neath Abbey Ruins are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Coed-Y-Mwstwr Golf Club and Lakeside Golf Club. Bridgend Minature Railway and Taskforce Paint Ball Games are also worth visiting. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as cycling, hiking, and rock climbing in the area.
