Town: The charming, former mining community of Bettws is located in Bridgend, in the South Wales Valleys, beside the River Ogmore. The village is charming and modest, surrounded by lovely scenery, and is a fantastic starting point for exploring the nearby towns and South Wales' coastline. St David's Church, a convenience shop, a bar and a pathway leading to Bryngarw Country Park, one of the best parks in the UK, are all located in the settlement.
