Located to south of the market town of Hexham, in the rolling picturesque countryside of the Tyne Valley with the frar-reaching views of the Cheviots, the Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines’ Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Lodge at Slaley Park sits within the grounds of the prestigious Slaley Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort, surrounded by woodland, golf courses and farmland. As you enter the development, this fabulous three storey lodge sits in an elevated position with a unique Scandinavian chalet feel. The spacious living area has vaulted ceilings and opens out onto a decked terrace area to the front with views across the Slaley Hall development. The modern kitchen/dining room is a great social space with comfortable seating area, dining table and superbly equipped shaker style kitchen. Four bedrooms stretch across the two lower floors, two with en-suite bathrooms and a separate family bathroom, and outside there is a private hot tub to relax in after a day of exploring. In the warmer weather, take yourselves outside, where you can have drinks and a BBQ on the terrace or enjoying the sunshine in the extensive lawned garden to the rear.
This is a great property is ideal for that special occasion or just an excuse to get all the family together. In addition to the facilities at the lodge, there are on-site activities at the Slaley Hall Spa and Golf resort. Golf enthusiasts will love the two 18-hole championship courses, while the ladies can relax in the hotel Spa. Afterwards enjoy wining and dining in the hotel’s bar and restaurants.
Out and about, the market town of Hexham is only 6 miles away and offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Enjoy the historical sites the town has to offer at Hexham Abbey or the Old Gaol. A must visit is to the pretty little village of Corbridge, with boutique shops, restaurants, tea shops and beautiful riverside walks again only 6 miles away. Whilst staying at Slaley Park, the world famous Hadrian’s Wall is just a few miles away, where you can take a walk along the path of the wall or explore one of the Roman forts and settlements including Chesters, Vindolanda and Housesteads. There is so much to do both on-site and in the surrounding area you will be spoilt for choice.
