This large stone cottage, originally two houses and now converted into one large space, is set in the most breath taking countryside, next to the River Breamsish on the Harehope Estate. Perfect for walkers and cyclists, it is also perfectly situated to visit local historical attractions as well as the pretty villages and coastal towns of the area. The garden gate of the property leads through to the pretty riverside where you can enjoy an evening stroll, and there is a variety of footpaths, cycle paths and bridle paths to explore from the cottage. Located in a beautiful peaceful hamlet only three miles from Eglingham and Chatton, you are also only a fifteen minute drive from Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens. The property has two lounge areas on the ground floor, one with an open fire, comfortable sofas, Smart TV and dual aspect windows and the other with a wood burning stove. A fully equipped kitchen has facilities including an electric range cooker, a large American style fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a wood burning stove, perfect for cold days. A boot room and utility and laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer and WC is also on the ground floor. Stairs lead up to the five bedrooms, one king size, one double and one twin. There are also two additional adjoining bedrooms, one double and one twin. On this floor, there are also two bathrooms with baths, one with a shower and the other with a hand held shower attachment and both with basins and WC.Property is off grid and electric is via a solar custom built generator very occasionally the solar runs out, torches are provided Outside, there are large gardens and a yard area, perfect for children and canines to play games and run around. There is parking for four cars at the property. There are also dog kennels/ runs within the garden. There is the option for stabling and grazing for four horses (arranged direct with the owner, at an additional charge).
