This delightful property is situated on a peaceful park in the seaside town of St Osyth on the Essex coast. It offers open plan living space, making it the ideal social space to gather and discuss the day’s adventures. There are two bedrooms, one en-suite, and an additional bathroom. The lovely terrace is ideal for sunbathing on and sipping your favourite tipple, whilst watching the stars at night.
The park itself is surrounded by countryside and features an attractive lake, with fishing available via a floating pontoon. The lake is stocked with a variety of carp, tench and roach;’ it is also an ideal spot to relax, read a book and watch the local wildlife. For those who like to eat out there is a lovely bar on site and a local restaurant.
St Osyth is a charming and characterful village centred around an ancient priory estate with a 383-acre deer park. Most of the village is a designated conservation area with 112 buildings listed individually as having special historic or architectural interest. There is an array of shops and restaurants and a small harbour.
There are plenty of places to visit St Martins Farm is a great place for a walk to take in the wildlife. local activities include a water sports centre. Clacton and Walton are a short distance away providing a seaside experience both with a pier, amusements, and an array of beach huts for hire. Clacton also has a shopping village. In the summer months there are free firework displays set to music.
The historic town of Colchester is a 20-minute drive with shops, restaurants, castle, and a museum. Castle Park offers something for all ages with a play park, bouncy castle, crazy golf, boating lake, and bandstand. Why not watch a game of cricket at the Essex Cricket Ground adjacent to the park? Colchester United football ground also hosts concerts and shows all year round. Colchester Zoo is a great day out and home to over 160 species, set in 6o acres of parkland and lakes. Dedham Vale and Flatford Mill, known as Constable Country, is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with beautiful walks and activities for all ages. Catch a train to London for a day’s sightseeing, a show, or some retail therapy.
