Gone to the Beach - Sea Views, Direct Beach Access, Saundersfoot

Pembrokeshire Coast. Sleeps up to 8

Imagine stepping out onto the balcony and feeling the early morning sea breeze with the sounds of the waves lapping at the shore. Step down from the garden to feel the sand beneath your toes as you watch the children splashing in the waves...

As well as the detailed description below, you can also take a Puffin Cottage Holidays YouTube walk around tour

Gone to the Beach is a luxury self-catering cottage perfectly located right on the beach front with direct access from the garden to Saundersfoot's award winning beach. Picture windows capture the spectacular views across the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast toward the Gower Peninsula and the cottage is also conveniently located for easy access to the vast array of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants Saundersfoot has to offer.

Entering into the cottage stairs lead up to the luxury living accommodation. The spacious hallway leads through to the living room where you will naturally be drawn towards the magnificent views offered through the picture windows. Dining and lounge seating for up to 8 people provide a comfortable space to dine, relax and spend family time together; watch as the sun rises and sets over the village.

The living room flows through to the kitchen which is well equipped with everything you will need for your self-catering holiday - raised oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, De Longhi coffee machine and breakfast bar. A French door leads out onto the balcony where there is space to sit and relax; watch the boats tracing their way along the horizon and listen to the gently crashing waves. Steps lead down from the balcony to the garden and beach.

From the living room the hallway leads through to the master double bedroom with king-sized bed and the childrens bedroom with bunkbed. Window seats in both these bedrooms provide a quiet space to enjoy a book or simply look out onto the street below.

Also on the first floor are the shower room and bathroom - both of which boast luxury suites; the bathroom comprises bath with shower over, wc and whb whilst the shower room comprises large walk in shower, wc and whb.

Upstairs the second floor offers two further bedrooms; one double with king-sized bed and one twin - both are light and airy rooms with ample storage facilities.

Outside, the enclosed garden offers full views over the beach and has table and chairs and parasol. Open the garden gate and steps lead down to the sandy beach. Sit in the garden and relax as you watch the children build sandcastles and splash in the waves (buckets and spades, body boards and beach games are available to borrow from the shed).

Further features of this cottage include large flat screen TV in the living room and Wifi. Linen and towels are provided.

Parking is at one of the three car parks in the village - Harbour car park, The Regency or Coppet Hall. Weekly tickets are charged at £30-£60 depending on the car park (price correct as of October 2022)

Two well-behaved dogs permitted (please note that there are dog restrictions on the beach between 1st May and 30th Sept, however dogs are allowed on The Glen beach, on the other side of the harbour, during these times)
