The two bedrooms are spacious and have high quality beds and luxury bedding. The kitchen has everything you need, full of mod cons and the shower room has a large walk-in shower. Snuggle up in the evening in front of the lovely central wood burner and catch up on Sky or enjoy some Sky sports. The three large windows makes this space beautiful and bright with lovely views over the courtyard and fields beyond.

Only 30 minutes’ drive from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas, with excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed including walking, cycling, fishing, pony trekking and water sports. Horse riding is available with a minute’s walk of the property. Visit the Trossachs Discovery Centre to learn more about this exciting area, or enjoy a cruise on stunning Loch Lomond. The cosmopolitan city of Glasgow is easily reached for a day out and offers shopping, restaurants, theatres and galleries. Stirling is easily accessible for the day and well worth a trip with its ancient castle, once belonging to Mary, Queen of Scots, and being set in a lovely peaceful area just a few minutes to the local village where you will find shops, pubs and restaurants. If you enjoy horse riding you could visit the local riding stables, ideal for young children and those with special needs. Go for walks and explore the local countryside and woodlands. The Old Stables is an extension to the owner’s beautiful house but has its own private entrance. There is plenty of parking space.

Located in Johnstone, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Barshaw Golf Club and Haggs Castle Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Braehead Shopping Centre and Silverburn. Coats Observatory and Delta Force Paintball Glasgow are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
