Alternatively, explore the Ayrshire coast or visit the world famous Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, where you will enjoy some stunning scenery, meet friendly people and perhaps sample some Scottish delicacies. There are many things to enjoy in the area such as golfing at the nearby Skelmorlie Golf Club, sailing from the Marinas at Inverkip and Largs as well as the many indoor visitor attractions. A highlight of your stay would be to take a ferry ride to one of the islands in the Firth of Clyde. Take the short 30 minute trip to the island of Bute and the Victorian seaside town of Rothesay, view the castle and the Bute Museum.
