About this space

- Walking distance to Llansteffan beach
- Pet friendly
- Wood burner
- 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeping up to 8 guests
- Original features throughout

The space
Albion House is constructed using a traditional lathe and plaster and lime-plastered internal walls to allow the building to breathe. The house took three years to renovate after lying empty for 20 years. Every room has been completely renovated and original features (where found) were lovingly restored and brought back to life.

Other features such as the snug and dining room area were added to meet the needs of modern family life. All wooden flooring is original from the 1790s when the house was built as part of the Plas Estate.

Ground floor:

As you enter through the front door and into the entrance hallway, you will find two lounge areas. The lounge to the left is generally enjoyed by the whole family and is a great space for both adults and children to relax and spend time together. Here you will find a SMART TV with Netflix which you can access on your own Netflix log-on details, there is also a DVD player with lots of DVDs on the bookshelf which you are welcome to watch and enjoy. There are plenty to choose from to keep the whole family happy.

The lounge to the right benefits from a wood burner which you will be able to use and enjoy during those colder months. A starter pack of fuel will be provided for you which should last your first couple of days. There are two large sofas and a central coffee table making this room a great space to cosy up in front of the fire.

Basement:

From the entrance hallway, you will access the basement from the door ahead. Please remember that this is a traditional cottage and so taller guests will need to be mindful of this as they go downstairs.

The basement area provides a perfect entertaining space. Equipped with a utility room, downstairs WC and shower room, and open plan Kitchen/ Dining room and snug.

The dining area has access immediately out to the private garden via the French doors. There is enough seating for all guests to enjoy a wonderful home-cooked meal. The area is overlooked by the snug which sits on a mezzanine balcony overlooking this area. This is a cosy space which we are sure younger guests will really appreciate. The snug also has its own SMART TV as well as a two-seater sofa and single sofa chair.

The kitchen has a wonderful country cottage feel and is equipped with all modern amenities. The generously sized space is kitted out for home dining. Use of appliances includes an oven and electric hob. There is a dishwasher in the utility room, alternatively, guests will also have use of a wonderful Belfast sink which overlooks the garden at the back of the property. Smaller appliances in the kitchen include a kettle and toaster.

The utility room provides guests with a great practical space during their stay. Equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and microwave with another Belfast sink and plenty of storage space.

The downstairs shower room can also be accessed from this area which provides a walk-in shower, sink and WC.

First floor:

The family bathroom can be found on the first floor. This stylish and large family bathroom has a large walk-in shower enclosure, WC, sink and bath. You can enjoy some great views across to Llansteffan beach from the window.

The first bedroom can also be found on the first floor. The twin bedroom sleeps two guests and benefits from views towards the beach as well as two chests of drawers for storage.

The second floor:

The three remaining bedrooms can be located on the top floor.

The master bedroom benefits from a king-size bed and dual-aspect views from two windows, allowing plenty of light into the generous space. Storage includes two wardrobes, a bedside cabinet, and a chest of drawers. There are some wonderful original features in this space which include the beams and fireplace.

The twin bedroom (bunk beds) is great for younger guests. Storage in this area includes a small bedside cabinet. We would recommend that the bunk beds are suitable for those under the age of 16.

The fourth and final bedroom on this floor benefits from another king-size bed as well as a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. With high ceilings as well as exposed beams and an original fireplace.
