Carstairs House is an superb three storey townhouse packed with character and style. Located just a couple of streets back from the sea, it has a fabulous location in the quaint fishing village of Cellardyke in the East Neuk.
With five bedrooms, two lounges, a stunning formal dining room, three bathrooms and two garden areas, it's the perfect place for a family get together or a long weekend by the sea with friends. Carstairs House is a quirky, comfortable and charming home from home.

Carstairs House is offers a fantastic amount of space, with each room beautifully styled to be comfortable and homely. Entering into the panelled hallway, there is a snug lounge with a range of seating, the perfect chill out space for kids or place to play games and watch TV. A spacious formal dining room with a table large enough for the whole party to feast around is adjacent the lounge. This floor also has a modern shower room and fitted kitchen which leads out to the rear garden area.
On the first staircase there is a double bedroom which overlooks the garden. The first floor has two further bedrooms- a superking which can be set as a twin as required and a king bedroom with seaviews as well as contemporary shower room. The sitting room is also on the first floor and enjoys views to the Isle of May. Sumptuous sofas, a drinks trolley and range of games and books make this an ideal place to relax and unwind.
The upper level has a twin room with views to the sea and a further king bedroom with three separate windows offering an inviting outlook from all angles. A decadent bathroom with slipper bath completes the interior. An additional garden space just across from the front door providing a second outdoor area to enjoy. Parking is on street.

This vacation home is located in Anstruther. Scottish Fisheries Museum and Crail Museum and Heritage Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Swilken Bridge and Tantallon Castle. La Petite Epicerie and Cambo Estate Gardens are also worth visiting.
