3 Castle St is a beautiful apartment located on the picturesque waterfront of Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife. From its position on the upper level, it has uninterrupted views across the Dreel Burn, the beach below, the sea beyond the lighthouse and over the boat filled harbour.
Forming the second floor of a grand Georgian building, 3 Castle Street is a great choice for a family holiday by the sea, a waterfront break with friends or a romantic trip for two.
Accommodating up to four guests, the apartment is spacious and bright with high ceilings and is comfortably furnished for a relaxing stay. The lounge has a sofa and armchairs around the working fireplace, two large window seats where the sun streams in and a desk where you can catch up on emails or perhaps take artistic inspiration from your surroundings. The master bedroom also enjoys water views and has a window seat- enjoy your morning coffee watching the waves lapping onto the shore. The well equipped kitchen has everything you should need for a self catering stay and a dining table to gather around. The second bedroom is a twin room and has an outlook over the courtyard and neighbouring gardens below. A family bathroom with shower over the bath and an additional WC complete the accommodation. The enclosed and sheltered courtyard to the rear is shared between the three properties within the building. Parking is available on Castle St (spaces not allocated) and in the neighbouring streets.
The East Neuk has long been a popular destination- its quaint fishing villages are all joined by beautiful stretches of the coastal path and as well as golf and watersports it offers plenty for the active guests. Known as a great spot for foodies too, there are great restaurants, bars and bistros as well as an abundance of local produce from seafood to strawberries. St Andrews is 7 miles and Edinburgh 1 hour, making it a great base for daytrips further afield.

The area's natural beauty can be seen at Craigtoun Country Park and Billow Ness Beach, while Scottish Fisheries Museum and Crail Museum and Heritage Centre are cultural highlights. La Petite Epicerie and Cambo Estate Gardens are also worth visiting.
